Diablo 4 on Switch 2: Age of Hatred Collection
Blizzard’s announcement describes the Age of Hatred Collection for Nintendo Switch 2 and gives September 15, 2026 as its release date. Community reports discuss quality and performance modes, but they are not enough to confirm exact output.
The platform release is confirmed, but the collected sources do not establish a universal current performance profile. Check a current Nintendo or Blizzard source before relying on a frame-rate, resolution, docked, or handheld claim.

The announced collection
The official announcement describes the Age of Hatred Collection for Nintendo Switch 2 and gives September 15, 2026 as the release date.
This page records the announcement, not every region-specific store condition or performance detail.
Before buying or installing
Check the current Nintendo store page for region, edition, account and download requirements.
Compare the live platform listing with the latest patch notes when cross-platform features matter.
What the reports do and do not prove
The collected community discussion mentions quality and performance modes and includes subjective reports about blur, input feel, and performance.
Those reports are useful for deciding what to test, but they do not independently confirm a fixed frame rate or resolution for every mode.
Needs confirmation
Exact handheld and docked frame rate, resolution, image quality, input latency, and later patch behavior remain needs-review.
The selected YouTube performance candidate has captions disabled, so it contributes no transcript claim. Do not replace a current platform test with its title or metadata.
How to test a performance claim
Compare handheld and docked behavior under the same patch, activity, and display conditions before treating a community observation as a general result.
Record the mode label and visible output from the current platform source; leave any unmeasured frame-rate or resolution field marked Needs confirmation.
